I have decided that I am going to do this. I am going to stand for five minutes in silence to save the world at 1 pm on May 13th. I invite you to do the same.

On May 13th, at 1 pm, some mothers (and their male friends) stood for five minutes for peace in front of St. Mary Magdalene Church, Rincon, Georgia. The church bells were rung at the beginning and the end of the prayer time. There were a total of 17 persons who stood, from 5 years old to, well, old enough to be my mother.
According to the website, there were 3686 standing events scheduled for Mother's Day, in 77 nations, including 750 organizations.
All of us who stood found it very worthwhile and will do this again next Mother's Day.
